Early Season Storms Nothing to Scoff At: 45th Anniversary of Hurricane Agnes Flooding

As the remnants of Cindy spill down across the eastern U.S., we're reminded of another early season tropical cyclone that brought heavy rain: Hurricane Agnes. 2016-2017 Season Snow Totals

Depending on where you live, this winter season was feast or famine in terms of snowfall. Parts of New England saw one of their snowiest winters on record, but areas just to the south received below average snowfall. Winter Has Returned! Potential For Biggest Storm Since January 2016 Blizzard

Cold air is making its way across the eastern U.S. this weekend delivering near freezing temperatures as far south as the Gulf Coast. Snow will fall from the Plains to parts of the Mid-South where snow will have a hard time accumulating on road surfaces. By late Monday we could be dealing with the most significant storm for the Mid-Atlantic since the blizzard of January 2017. Over a foot of snow is possible across parts of the Northeast by the middle of next week.
