Today we review Winter and how our year-ahead outlook of a warmer than average core Winter with 24% less snow is playing out with the main factors being dueling high pressures in the Pacific and Atlantic along with a strong symmetrical Polar Vortex. A few factors that have us bullish on a strong 2020 retail season include very low Great Lakes ice coverage, La Nina among other factors suggesting a strong start to Spring.
